WAV – Wheelchair Access Vehicles

Wheelchair customers can now book trips using our WAV (Wheelchair Access Vehicle).

Booking a WAV trip

  1. Call or use the app

    Call the MTA Call A Ride Call Center at 866-535-8781 or use the MTA Call A Ride Mobile App.

  2. Tell us you need a WAV

    Let us know you use a wheelchair, and whether it folds, so we can send the right vehicle.

  3. Present your Mobility ID

    Show your Mobility ID card to the driver and give your electronic signature at pickup.
